A New Year’s Resolutions with a True Lasting Quality

Sunday, December 30th, 2007

I hope all of you have had a good holiday season that leaves you with lots of special memories to take into your New Year.

Jokes are made at this time of the year about New Year resolutions and being able to keep them.  Some we put on our list are wishful thinking that we just do not have the will power to bring into reality.  However, there are resolutions that can be kept and can bring important changes into your own lives or the lives of those you love.  Those are the type of resolutions we should concentrate on as we make out lists in the next couple of days.

If you have young children in your life, why not make a resolution to bring music into that child’s life?  Animal Notes can help your child learn to read notes and understand the basic principals of timing.  You have the satisfaction of keeping your resolution, and the lucky child has been given the precious gift that opens the door to a full experience in the music world.  The child can learn to play any instrument they so choose. Yes, they must learn how to create the tones on the instrument they wish to master, but the difficult task of mastering note reading and understanding timing has been given by you when they were young.  This New Year’s resolution is truly one that lasts and keeps on giving.
